Memory Care in Shakopee

Your Loved One Deserves Peace of Mind

With the rising rate of Alzheimer’s and dementia affecting Americans across the country, it’s our duty to provide a lifestyle that meets your loved one’s medical needs while providing them opportunities to do the things they love.

Our Memory Care lifestyle is specially designed to help residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other cognitive issues not just live, but thrive.

With the help of our trained team of caregiving experts, your loved one will find the life they deserve. Please, give us a call and schedule a tour today.

What Is Memory Care?

Before your loved one joins our community, we take a detailed look at the level of care they require. From here, we can customize their lifestyle, providing them with a sense of comfort and stability they can depend on.

To ensure your loved one achieves a high quality of life, our team receives extensive training on caring for those with cognitive disabilities. This training gives them the power to do the right thing for every one of our residents.

Identifying Your Loved One’s Level of Support

In our initial meeting with you and your loved one, we will determine the level of care they need. Some of the daily tasks they could need help with include:

  • Eating
  • Bathing and personal hygiene
  • Moving around
  • Managing medications
  • Dressing

Enriching Connections is a comprehensive training program dedicated to providing our staff with the knowledge and skills they need to serve your loved one. The program focuses on building connections between our caregivers and your loved one, ensuring they’re comfortable and safe in our staff’s care.

Our program focuses on several pillars to ensure success for every staff member, including:

  • Relationships & Community: Every individual is invited to belong.
  • Commitment: Our team is committed to providing every resident with personalized care.
  • Certification & Training: All management and Memory Care staff are certified in dementia care by the Alzheimer’s Association, in addition to other dementia training.
  • Services: Families can make the right choices for their loved ones with the help of our nursing staff.
  • Meaningful Life & Engagement: Inspire Wellness for Life is our core program philosophy that promotes the best quality of life for every resident.
  • Environment: We make continuous improvements so that our community remains dementia-friendly.
  • Accountability: We are always monitoring processes, plans, and culture to maintain our high standards of care.
  • They have cognitive deficiencies like Alzheimer’s and dementia.
  • They need more professional caregiving services.
  • They are not able to live at home safely anymore.
  • They struggle with stress or anxiety while living alone.
  • They have a history of injuries, or if they are known to wander.
